Poncho Blanket

Great product! I walk 2 bloodhounds daily in all sorts of weather and the poncho has proven to work in 20 degree temperatures with only a henley underneath. I'm usually out for about 30 to 35 minutes per outing. One more set of buttons closer to the bottom for strong wind conditions would be helpful, but other then that this is the go to all weather gear. It's always on hand.

I bought this after sitting in the cold rain to watch my son play football. LOVE IT! I'm buying a second one for my mother-in-law because we both have at least 4 more years of football and baseball games to sit through! The other football mom's want one, so I liked you on facebook and shared with all of them!

Since Everett was a typical 4th of July evening: wet and cool, I wanted to give a customer review for my poncho. It rained lightly for 7 innings of the baseball game, and my poncho kept me dry. When the fireworks started after 10:00 the poncho kept me toasty warm. These were exactly the conditions I wanted to have to test the poncho, and I am perfectly satisfied. Let others know that this is perfect garment for Seattle weather.

We wear these lovely ponchos when crossing a Canadian lake on a pontoon. They defeat being wet and cold by keeping us cozy inside. We love using them!!! They may seem expensive, but are worth the price. Rating: Five Stars

This is the best poncho EVER. We have used this poncho/blanket in every type of weather and I cannot say enough about it! We have 3 boys so we are always attending some type of sporting event. Last month when it was sunny, we folded it over and it served as a cushy bench seat and my boys like to hide under it to block the sun and play their electronics :) Last week, it was chilly and windy and we used it as a blanket and it cut the wind. I was so nice and toasty that my friends wanted to come under my blanket also - it was big enough for 3 adults to share! Tonight, we had a football game in crazy pouring down rain - it was so windy that umbrellas were useless. I wrapped myself in my waterproof poncho and watched the whole game. I was warm, I stayed dry - it was perfect. If you are hesitating about the price - just do it. It was worth every penny - The fleece quality is impeccable and nothing I have compares to it. I also bought an extreme weather blanket - we use both all the time. Thank you Margaret @ Mambe Blankets - you have made my whole family very happy!!

We recently returned from a safari in Africa. We were given incredible blanket-lined ponchos to wear at one of our camps. I loved the poncho and thought it would be perfect for inclement weather-sports games etc because it is both warm and wind/rain protection. I tried to contact the company but they did not respond so I started googling and found Mambe. I ordered the heavier weight and it is fabulous. It is actually nicer than the African version. It is lighter in weight because it is polar and not blanket and the workmanship is much more refined. I also love having the carry bag. Matt was very helpful and I also referred another friend who is ordering several as gifts.

This poncho is awesome! I have kids in early spring baseball, football and marching band, so I deal with very cold temperatures along with rain, sleet and snow. I called them and they were even nice enough to upgrade the fleece to the Polartec ® Classic 300 Fleece. It is a little bit more in cost, but very well worth it! I really liked this blanket so much, I am calling to place another order for my dad for all the grandkids sporting events and the cold days watching the Ohio State football games in the stadium.
