We travel with my grandchildren year around, particularly for soccer. That includes some very cold, windy spring games and cold, windy, wet autumn games. I have the Extreme Weather hooded blanket, and I could not possibly be happier. It keeps me completely warm and dry, and there is even room for a 5-year-old granddaughter to keep warm in it beside me. We sat through games this year where it was cold and poured rain during much of the games. I was completely comfortable! The carrying sack is marvelous. The folks at Mambe are so very helpful and customer-service oriented, and I love that this is an American-made product. This blanket is worth every penny I paid, and I appreciated the coupons that Mambe included for a discounted cost on future purchases and/or to pass on to others. I certainly took advantage of the coupon (I now have 2 hooded blankets) and passed some on to others! This blanket has attracted much attention here! Long live Mambe!

In May of this year I wrote a review on our Mambe hooded blanket. I said I loved my blanket, but hated the detached strap. My review was followed by a suggestion that Mambe improve the blanket by attaching the strap. A few days after my suggestion, I was contacted by a Mambe representative who apologized for the experience and gave me a stuff sack to easily carry the blanket. My stuff sack arrived within two days. Mambe subsequently contacted me to say that because of my suggestion, all future Mambe purchases were going to include a stuff sack for easy carrying. Thank you Mambe! I'll definitely buy more Mambe products and refer my friends/family to also purchase.

This blanket is awesome! I have kids in early spring baseball, football and marching band, so I deal with very cold temperatures along with rain, sleet and snow. I called them and they were even nice enough to upgrade the fleece to the Polartec ® Classic 300 Fleece. It is a little bit more in cost, but very well worth it! I really liked this blanket so much, I am calling to place another order for my parents.

Our son is in competitive soccer and plays games year round. This means we basically have to be prepared for any kind of condition; cold, windy, rainy, games on turf fields, games in stadiums with cold/wet bleachers, etc. This blanket is fabulous. It is light, yet warm. Inside is a quality fleece material, and exterior is waterproof and dries very fast. Only complaint: The strap is not attached to the blanket so it constantly slips off the rolled blanket. When you're walking from the fields to the car, the last thing we want to deal with is an unfolding blanket. It would be great if Mambe could attach the strap. If the strap had been attached, I would have rated this product 5-star PLUS!

Staff was great at getting my special color order to me. I have used for baseball, soccer and track meets so far. Hood is big enough to keep rain off my face. Even have used my winter coat under it, with room to spare. I am sooo happy with my purchase and look forward to many years of enjoying sports. Well worth the price. Many have loved the idea that I now have my Halloween costume too. Darth Vader and Count Dracula spring to mind.

My wife has had this blanket for over a year and loves it. This blanket is awesome the hood and hand pockets make it great for her to wear at all of our kids sporting events.

We spend a lot of time enjoying the outdoors. Keeping myself warm while keeping the kids warm can be tough. This blanket makes it easy to wear and easily has room for 1 or more of my kids. We love our hooded blanket and take it everywhere!

This blanket is the perfect solution for the chilly spectator! *Every* time I use this blanket, at least a half-dozen people ask me where they can get one! It is waterproof, windproof, warm and roomy. I love the pockets that keep my hands warm and allow me to wrap the blanket snuggly around me or me and my kid! The hood keeps in the body heat! Mambe kindly made this in our team colors- what a great way to stay warm and support our team at the same time! Thank you Mambe!

This is a great accessory for watching our kids' sporting events. We have kids in hockey, soccer and softball, so we spend lots of time sitting in chilly, windy places. I wanted something that would, first and foremost, block the wind, which just goes right through you on the soccer and softball fields. I didn't, however, want to wrap myself in plastic. Lots of research and shopping led me to Mambe. Their blankets met my criteria: Windproof, waterproof, lightweight, fleece interior. I choose the hooded blanket because I wanted to be able to open an close whatever I had around me (the poncho can't adjust for the temp like that), but I wanted something more formed than just a blanket. I also wanted the capability for cuddling my youngest in the blanket, when needed. I have used the hooded blanket over one long weekend of softball tournaments, and don't know what I would have done without it. I highly recommend these products and highly recommend Mambe's customer service, which is second to none, in my experience.
